okay, so the other night I had the children IN their beds, lights out and everything...and, are you ready for this? I went and got them all up ---for SNOW! Snow in South Carolina is practically analagous with miracles and blue moons and such. So...several hours later..many sets of soggy mittens, empty cocoa cups and a day after of sleep deprived crankiness later...ask me if it was worth it? Go on....ask?

I made these little stockings for some of the kiddos. I must say I really like the way they turned out, although the photos are less than inspired....sorry. I'm NOT an embroiderer....and got the patterns from the very talented Hilary at Wee Wonderfuls...in fact, I have no skill whatsoever, so this was a really easy project and much faster than knitting. The children were very pleased.

night...these were my two companions....waaaayyyy too late. Both miscreants had late naps and then decided to keep mommy company.
I found myself smiling, albeit tiredly...at their two little heads and thinking about how blessed I am. My house might be pretty dirty, but if there's a contest for "cherrycub cuteness" , my guys are gonna win...hands down.
BTW, "cherrycub" for the uninitiated...was coined by Jack (male miscreant). I recently was having a warm fuzzyish momma moment and asked him "Are you momma's sweet little curly headed cherub?" to which he replied curtly "I'm not a cherry cub, I'm just Jack!"
Since i'm packing away the Christmas stuff....here's my favorite card.....thanks june....
