For the last year my children have been consumed by all things fairy-ish. We are all avid Cecily Mary Barker devotees at my house. So, when it came time to ask what sort of costumes everyone would be requiring, there would be no simple requests for generic fairies around here. No, we needed :
Sophie- White Bryony Fairy
Jack- Hawthorn Fairy
Nora- Black Bryony Fairy
Russell- Acorn Fairy
Bridie- Forget-Me-Not Fairy
We had a lot of fun pulling the costumes together with some help from Gram, making and decorating wings and arranging and crafting headpieces. I think they look sweet.
