Moms, gardens and jam, oh my.
My mom visited last week for 5 whole days and you wouldn't actually be able to call it a vacation, atleast not for her. She helped us put in our vastly increased garden...pictures and notes to come shortly, and joined us for berry picking. I'm not going to embarrass myself by telling you how many berries my children picked (with some help from visiting auntie, uncle and cousins), but I will tell you that we didn't use them all for jam and we made 72 jars. Yep, 72 jars! Some freezer jam, some cooked jam, some lower sugar jam. I went to the store to buy sugar TWICE! That's a lot of sugar.
